The Secret to Fat Loss: "Kettlebell Circuits"

Over the years we have tried and experimented with many different types of training programs searching for the most effective methods for fat loss. Kettlebells won hands down as the superior way to both improve physical function and accelerate fat loss.  The following is a list of methods that one can successfully use with kettlebells:

- Ladders
- Circuits
- Timed Sets
- Complexes
- Chains
- and many more....

But perhaps the one method we use the most is the classic kettlebell circuit format.
What is a kettlebell circuit? Pick 3 to 4 kettlebell movements and perform them consecutively without rest. For example, you could do the following 4 exercises in a circuit.

* Tactical Lunge                           5 reps per leg
* Weighted Pull up                       5 reps
* Double Clean and Press          5 reps
* Double Swings                          10 reps

Perfom the circuit for a total of 4 to 5 sets. You would rest 1 minute between circuits until you have completed your 4 to 5 rounds. This is an excellent way to train for strength because it allows you to lift heavy enough kettlebells to get a favorable hormonal response that would help you build muscle.  It is also helps build your stamina and conditioning because of the minimal rest.  The bottom line is that circuits give you best of both worlds: STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE!!!
