Mastering The Pull Up
(Videos Part 1, 2 and 3)
Mastering the Pull Up is worth your very best effort. Few exercises develop full body strength like the pull up and thus puts the pull up into the "must have" strength arsenal. Most people who cannot do pull ups are quite frustrated and do not know where to begin in mastering this incredible movement.

These three videos will give you some excellent tips on how to learn the proper and strongest way to perform pull ups. From the beginner to the advanced trainee, there is something for everyone in these videos.

Video one talks about the concept of "engaging" the entire midsection during the pull up and learning how to shorten your midsection for greater power and strength.

Video two demonstrates the odd relationship between the handstand push up and increased power in the pull up.

Video three talks about the difference in being a "TNT" or "Gun powder" puller. Both have their benefits but see why learning to accelerate later in the pull up may lead to greater gains in strength.

Hopefully these videos will give you a "true north" compass to help you on your way to pull up mastery. Be patient though, mastery takes time. Be consistent with these tips and you will see greater gains.
